SNCK is a snack ordering app designed for movie theaters, aimed at improving user experience by addressing issues such as limited snack variety, lack of rewards for frequent users, and inefficient food counter management. The app includes a loyalty program, personalized snack suggestions, and the ability to order ahead to reduce wait times, providing users with a seamless and enjoyable movie snack experience.
This project, completed as part of my Google UX Certification, was one of three designed in just four weeks. Throughout the process, I learned a great deal about designing for mobile apps, particularly through user research, usability studies, and the implementation of Google’s Material Design principles. Inspired by Google’s design philosophy, I focused on creating a clean, intuitive interface that prioritized user needs, including features like an allergy prompt and loyalty rewards. These experiences deepened my understanding of UX processes and continue to influence my design approach.
