THE EXPLORERIT PROJECT BRINGS THE CAMPUS’S ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY TO LIFE By transforming static maps into an interactive timeline, the project helps users explore 57 years of growth and 75+ buildings in a single immersive interface. Designed for a touchscreen kiosk, the experience invites students and alumni to engage with RIT’s legacy.
INSPIRED BY PLAYFUL MICRO-INTERACTIONS AND TETRIS-STYLE GRIDS, the interface balances curiosity with clarity, making history not just visible, but explorable.
