Inspired by the intense atmosphere of HBO’s Chernobyl but with the gritty, stylized aesthetics of Netflix’s Narcos, this title sequence reimagines a dramatic show intro. The goal was to capture the mood of suspense and tension through carefully crafted motion graphics, balancing dark, moody visuals with a lot of imagery and cinematic transitions. By combining principles of design like balance and emphasis with animation techniques such as follow-through and arcs, the title sequence sets the tone for a story rich in intrigue and complexity.
