This project aimed to create six different PowerPoint templates for the Finance & Administration (F&A) departments at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Each template needed to adhere to RIT’s branding guidelines while catering to the distinct needs of various F&A teams. The users have limited design skills, so the templates were designed to be plug-and-play, offering flexibility for data-heavy presentations with charts, images, and icons.
The templates followed key themes such as Presidential, Energy, Strong, Iconic, Airy, and Dry, each tailored to different visual styles while ensuring room for closed captioning at the bottom third of each slide.

The project began by researching RIT’s branding guidelines and analyzing the design inspiration provided by the F&A teams. I developed six distinct visual styles for the templates, from bold, icon-heavy layouts to hyper-colored and airy designs. Each template was built with flexibility in mind, allowing users to easily present complex data through a range of slides—such as Title, Content, Agenda, Section Breaks, and Multi-Block layouts—while maintaining visual cohesion and ease of use.
The design challenge was to balance creativity with user-friendliness, ensuring that each template remained accessible to users with minimal design experience.
