The 2024 Tokyo Film Festival poster series combines traditional Japanese motifs with modern aesthetics, featuring elements like koi fish, neon lights, and vintage accents. The bold designs aim to capture Tokyo's vibrant nightlife and cultural balance while conveying the festival's cinematic energy.
This project delved into collage art, exploring themes like nightlife, koi fish, and yin-yang symbolism. Inspired by traditional and modern Japanese aesthetics, I combined neon accents to capture Tokyo's energy. Integrating Gestalt principles and grunge textures, I merged complex visuals with clean typography to create posters that reflect the Tokyo Film Festival's allure.
Each poster is a dynamic blend of cultural motifs and contemporary design, capturing the essence of the Tokyo Film Festival’s cinematic allure.
